NaBloPoMo Day 26 Thankful

There will be hundreds upon hundreds of blogs about thankfulness today. They are all special to the people who are writing them. I am so glad to read about the things people are thankful for since so much of the time it is hard to see it.

A few things I am thankful for:

First and foremost my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am unabashedly a follower of Jesus Christ. And since I am not a rock star I don't have to put that in my liner notes or mention it on the Grammys to look cool.

I am thankful for my husband who loves me without measure. He is a sweet daddy to our kiddos, cleans bathrooms and plays a mean guitar.I am thankful for each of my children. They are so special in their own ways. I love that they climb in my lap and tell me they love me. I love that they are stretching and growing into amazing little people.I am thankful for my mom who raised me to know Jesus and to understand that I could do anything I put my mind to.

I am thankful for my stepdad who has an infectious laugh, a sweet spirit and silly sense of humor. I love that he in is my life and that he is my dad!

I am thankful for my mother in law and my father in law. They are shining examples of solid Christians in this crazy world.

I am thankful for all of my sisters, sister in laws and brother in laws. They are all hilarious and make me laugh!

I am thankful for each and every one of my friends that love me for who I am and who challenge me to be a better person.

I am thankful for Johnny Appleseed Pie and Cornmeal Crescent rolls, a roof over my head and the laughter that fills the house.
