Why can't I have anything nice for more than 2 seconds? I always carry my cell phone with me when I walk for "just in case". I just got my brand new Lg EnV2 on Saturday.
This morning at the end of my walk my neighbors dog leaped on top of my dog which sent my phone flying through the air.
I guess I should be glad it didn't break but all of the corners are scratched. I know it was bound to get scratched anyway but 4 days? Grr...

  1. I can relate, Karen. This is yet another reason why I don't have a real cell phone. Because I can't have anything nice for more than 2 seconds. Except my next-door neighbors. I've had them for several years now, and I love them. For those readers not in the know, I mean Karen, Bobby, Munchkin and Little Man. Oh, yeah, and Your Dog. Bean the Cat, by the way, never causes any cellphone-related traumas.
I know it wasn't your dog who initiated the jumping up, but, still. I'll bet I know which dog it was!
(I'm away from home, temporarily, and I miss Karen and her family humans way more than I miss the pets. No contest.)
Great catching up with y'all this way. Dang, those kids are gettin' big! I'll be home in HOHV at the end of August (for a week). Stay put till then, OK?

  2. Hey honey, I can relate. I'm trying myself to adopt Randy Pausch's philosophy in the Last Lecture. He took his niece and nephew out in his new convertible and his sister was warning the kids not to "mess up the car", so he open a can of coke and poured it all over the seats. Later, when his nephew barfed in the car it wasn't a tragedy.

  3. I hear ya! I get my sunglasses at the dollar store and never EVER get to have lip gloss or perfume or lotion or gum that's not raided and sacked in minutes. DRAT!
