My sweet Little Man! Where have the last 4 years gone? How are you turning 4 today? It doesn't seem that long ago we were so worried you would never walk and then you got it. We worried you wouldn't get potty trained and here you are fully trained! You are sweet and sensitive. You love your big sister. All of a sudden your climbing gene has kicked in and you want to climb on everything. Last year at this time you despised the water. This year you can't get enough. You are still a bit hesitant in sprinklers but have loved the pool at the Y.
There are so many things to look forward to this year and I can't wait to experience them with you! My sweet boy when you know you are in trouble look at me with those big blue eyes and say "I love you Mommy!". Seriously? How can I stay mad? We worry with you how to discipline. Are you acting out because of your age or because of your ACC? Your teachers at church tell me you are a little reserved but when you get comfortable you are a little chatterbox...at least to them.
You love anything sweet and anything bread. You don't like veggies but know you have to eat them to get the sweet stuff. You love pirates and race cars and Little Einsteins. You would eat a cheeseburger meal from Mcdonalds every day if I let you. You love your big sister and The Big Kahuna better than anyone. You can play for hours laying on the floor with your hands as puppets if that is what you want to do for the day. You also love to pretend you are SuperWhy. You turn around in a circle and tell me you are SuperWhy, turn around again and say you are you.
You love to drive around in your Cozy Coupe even though it really is too small at this point. You love to go to the bookstore so you can play at the train table. You love to sing and play your guitar and bang on the piano.
You still have some issues with transition and sensory overload but those seem to be getting better. You are almost able to run smoothly. You can hit a tball pretty far and love to kick a ball. Those motor skills are coming along.
There are so many aspects to who you are now and so many of who you are to become. I love you so much and pray you will always be my sweet cuddler!
