Life Group

It is about time but it looks like we may have found a new church home. We have been going to Lifechurch in Hendersonville. You can check it out here. It is definitely different but different in a really good way.
The music is rock and roll which fits Bobby to a T. But, even though it is rocking there are still hymns in there too. The sermons are on video but we were watching the screen anyway. They do not program, program, program. Some of it I know I will miss...for instance there are not big productions like big cantatas. That is something that I love but haven't been involved in in a long time.
There is a program on Wednesday nights for kids that are 6 and up and Munchkin is so excited about that.

We went to Lifegroup tonight at our friends house. It was such a great time of prayer and fellowship and talking about God. I haven't been in a small group like that in a long time where every ones voice was heard. It was wonderful. Munchkin and Little Man had a fantastic time playing with all the other kids while I got to spend time with other adults talking about God. What fun! So, it is looking like this is where we might land.

On another note, if you want to know what it feels like to bust a light bulb in your hand let me know. I sliced my thumb tonight. Munchkin asked if she could get me a bandaid so I now have Backyardigans decorating my thumb.
If you are looking for a good place to get connected come check out Lifechurch!
(Longhollow is still great too!)

Sounds like a great place. I thought I might miss the programs programs programs, but when I started getting the Word of God, I didn't even notice. I could finally sit and rest and hear God speaking through his own Word and meet really amazing people who just simply love the Lord and what he's about. No gimmicks, no "rethinking Christianity", nothing new, just the old made new in the Spirit!
